One final run before game time

I've been building and testing a futures portfolio since march and it's been one heck of a journey. I'm finally starting an extended live demo through february as one last sanity check. It's still demo trading and I'm mainly testing the infrastructure and engine stability. The portfolio runs 22/5 so a big part of the work has been making sure it can look after itself while I'm away from the screen. I've built in automatic engine recovery and restarts, real time system health notifications and the monitoring dashboard (see the screenshot). Trading and infrastructure recovery are both automated but this run is where I get to see how well everything holds up over a longer stretch. I'm using NinjaTrader for the demo. It wasn't my first choice but it's been a stable option for this setup. The desktop app login automatically and connects to my python engine through a custom addon bridge. I'll be reviewing the trades each week to see how they line up with the backtests and investigate any differences. Mostly just wanted to share where I'm at. There's still plenty to prove but I'm pretty happy to have reached this stage after months of building and testing. If you're working on your own system and progress feels slow I hope seeing this gives you a little encouragement to keep at it.

Nice! Im also running a futures bot on paper right now. Every month is green or flat at worst. Going to run for a few more weeks on paper and then go to real cash. GL to you!
