What should we do with r/juststart?

This subreddit was created in 2016 by u/Humblesalesman for the purposes of encouraging people to stop dicking around and just start. Stop looking through WordPress themes, stop making lists, stop trying to make your footer perfect, just start pumping out content. Build sites, make money through affiliate and ad income. Work hard, get rewards, but start today. Start yesterday. The idea is sound, but as we know, times have certainly changed. At some point someone hacked Humbles account and it was suspended/deleted. I think he made some other accounts and hung around for a while but at some point he set off into the sunset and has not been back. Most of the OG users have also left for a better life somewhere else. Today the sub is mostly a place where people try to spam their vibe coded AI website/project. Occasionally someone will share an update on their progress and talking about what's been working, what hasn't, but it's not like it used to be. What should we do with it? Anything? Change the direction? The focus should still be to start - you aren't getting any younger, stop talking about it and **DO ITTTTTT** - but, does anyone have any ideas on potential changes or anything? Thanks Happy Friday

man, i miss the old days of that sub. used to lurk there back in 2017 when i was building my first affiliate site and the energy was electric. now it's just another AI dumping ground keep the "just start" mantra but maybe slap some stricter posting rules on it. no low-effort "look at my AI wrapper" posts unless they show actual revenue or at least genuine traffic. make people prove they built something real the core message still matters, just needs a filter to cut through the noise

I'm all for gatting on quality rather than type of post. Got a site you're hyping? Timestamped metrics and live URL. Technique that worked for you? Point us to the site. Vibe coded thing you want to sell? You have to offer a free trial, even if it's just for /r/juststart members. No do-this-not-that essays or motivational stuff without URL-level proof you've built something and the wisdom you're giving is derived from working on the site you're joining to. Standing rule: There are no dumb questions because we were all dumb once. Be helpful or STFU/GTFO. Zero-tolerance ban for rule breakers.

Just Start as a mentality should be stronger than ever and it doesn’t have to be about just Wordpress, it can be about anything. Just start whatever it is you want. I just finished migrating my Wordpress site off of Wordpress and traffic is skyrocketing, that’s a just start post or it could be. Clear up the SaaS spam and let’s get some good content going here. Make me a mod and let’s get it going.
