If you could spend from MetaMask anywhere, would you actually use it?

I use MetaMask regularly but whenever I actually want to spend crypto, I still have to move it somewhere else or cash out first. If you could just connect MetaMask and pay at normal stores without preloading another wallet, would you actually use that day to day or do you prefer keeping your wallet completely separate from spending?

I'd probably keep a separate spending wallet anyway. Connecting the same wallet where I keep most of my assets to everyday purchases feels like adding unnecessary exposure just to save a transfer

I do this with Oobit. I connect my MetaMask and can spend from it without having to move everything to an exchange and cash out first. For me that’s a lot closer to how crypto should work day to day keep it in your own wallet then use it when you need to

If there was privacy, yes. And especially if my job didn't pay me in USD

You can use Metamask Card and expense directly from your own wallet. Or also, you can use Oobit or Zypto that gives you a rechargable debit card for expending at stores or online. Sadly, these are the only secure options known at the moment. KYC is mandatory.
