    Bitcoin does not care.

It would dive, like all other risk-on investments.

Bitcoin is a piece of code, it doesn’t care what humans think or do.

\-5% for a week, then up again.

Then down 10% then down to zero

Nope. Why would BTC go out over freaking Taiwan? 😂

The bitcoin CEO has a cottage in Taiwan

One thing is for sure, the line would continue to move to the right.

Basically moon IMO. US would likely sanction Chinese companies in response to that kind of attack and this would wake a lot of people up to the fact that governments are imperfect and that even equities are highly susceptible to their government's mood... Apple, Meta, NVDIA... all of these could basically take 80% hits just because President Xi feels like taking over Taiwan...

probably dumps hard at first tbh, BTC still trades like a risk asset when stuff like this actually happens, not some magic safe haven after the initial panic it depends. If china capital starts trying to flee (sanctions/capital controls type stuff) you could see BTC catch a bid from that, kinda like what happened with russian money in 2022 also random but worth remembering, taiwan = TSMC = chips = mining hardware, so a real conflict there isn't great for miners either short term: bad. long term: depends how ugly it actually gets

initial panic dump, then long term capital flight pumps it. Just keep your stack in self custody and use instant cross chain swaps without mandatory signups or KYC if CEXs start lock down.
