July Was Rough for Tech,So What's the Trade for August?
Tech spent almost the entire month of July pulling back. A lot of high flyers gave back a big chunk of their gains, and sentiment cooled off fast. But here's the thing... Every correction creates a new leadership group. I'm not looking for the stocks that already doubled. I'm looking for the ones that can lead the next move. A few areas I'm watching in August: Semiconductors after the reset Data center infrastructure Cybersecurity Power & energy tied to digital infrastructure I also think August won't be about buying everything. It'll be about picking the companies with real earnings and real demand. The market doesn't stay bearish forever, but it also doesn't reward every tech stock anymore. So what's your game plan for August? Buying the dip? Waiting for another leg down? Or already seeing new leaders emerge?
