United SGD Fund Class U (Dist) SGD - Did I do something wrong?

I'm so confused. Had set up RSP of $100 per month on it, along with my $30k parked there since 2 months ago. But all I see is that the NAV keep going down. Did I do something wrong or my concept is wrong? I understand that it'd be beneficial for my RSP to kick in when the NAV is low than high, but how does this work?

This is a fixed income fund. Subscription fee 2% management fee 0.63%, plus you chose a distributing fund class so it pays out instead of reinvest. I don't think you know what you're doing at all.

Just curious, why still DCA peanut amounts into a distributing fund
