They just changed the title of the article, it’s now **STI could hit 7,000 in bull case over next 12 months: JPMorgan**

    7000? Isn’t that a huge bump over 12 months?

Expert opinions are all over the place. On one hand, DBS says the STI will face a choppy third quarter, on the other hand JPM says the STI will hit 7000. Who should we trust?

None. Treat analysis that is available for free as advertisements.

Agree, we don't know what the intentions of these publishers are.

JPM is a classic. On same day, their analysts can project S&P to go up another 20% while their CEO is on stage telling doomsday stories.

That's pretty insane - it's another 20% growth on top of current levels. Almost half of STI consists of DBS OCBC UOB. This literally means that the big 3 is expected to grow by more than 20% (with the other 50% growing below that rate) to even things out.

I can almost smell DBS $100

I am a bit worried on such huge optimism. S&P 500 the previous decade darling is different they have trillion dollar cap and so many many companies. STI is heavily propped up by the 3 banks. So I really wonder SGX is going to really breach so high? I an always Support Locals supporters also have doubts now.

If it is at 7000, how much weight will be carried by the 3 local banks? Half of it or more…..?
