CEO exits sent these stocks up 24% and down 33% in Q2

I went through some of the biggest stock moves around CEO departures last quarter. The range was pretty wild. **Down (1D)** * $FTCI: -33.20% * $SMWB: -8.95% * $SARO: -8.11% * $CPRT: -8.02% * $POOL: -7.97% * $CODI: -7.69% **Up (1D)** * $IART: +24.13% * $EMOTF: +17.84% * $GGRP: +15.95% * $RES: +11.46% A few of these had other news attached too. FTC Solar reported earnings at the same time, so the CEO change probably wasn’t the only reason it dropped 33%. Integra moved after former CEO Stuart Essig came back. Glimpse Group also paired its CEO change with a move into physical AI infrastructure software. Seems like CEO news matters more when it points to a bigger problem or an actual shift in the business. If it’s just a planned handoff, there usually isn’t much to trade.

$FTCI popped back onto my radar. The reaction to guidance often tells you more than the number itself. Educational read.
