Ussee bahut kuch sudhar jayega. Options price m laast movement mein uncertain volatility kaam hojayega. You can refer to the options charts on jane street times how it can possibly behave. All our hedges can be very expensive if it goes like this

Apart ftom hero zero traders , nobody is impacted due to CAS. Who trades the last 15 mins anyway? I agree CAS should have been tested properly before rolling out, but CAS isn't the villian. Instead- - Reduce/ Remove STT - Remove physical settlement of stock derivatives

Brother hero zero traders are not counted as traders first of all. And secondly the who trades the last 15 min? Seriously, nobody trades last 15 mins cause on 0 dtes the options decays w.r.t time but CAS implementation makes an uncertain settlement of spot so the option doesn't decay. Gamma keeps on moving. This CAS will create last 15 min traders for sure.

No retail trader should touch 0 dtes in the last 15 mins.. It's purely in the gambling territory.. The gamma blast is for gamblers.

Abolish STT

cas isnt even issue anymore, infirst few days it was volatile because market was digesting the new structure, now it merely moves 20-25 points

But it opens the window for future gambling also unless you have a transparent volumes the option prices also behave differently (due to uncertain of the spot closing)

What do you mean future gambling

In upcoming future ( aane wala kal ) it can be easily gambled

Cas volatility issue toh khatam ho gaya na? Fight karna he tha toh SEBI se increased margin aur increased lot size k liye karna tha.

The closing volatility is gone. CAS system is followed by major stock exchanges of the world.

Just a 3-4 days with less volatility can't be considered as forever stability. It is always about the potential risk this system creates brother

I am giving it benefit of doubt that it's the initial implementation which led to that crazy volatility. Also, for potential risk in future. Players like Jane Street will find their ways and will always be step ahead of SEBI and retail. Jan street did whole lot of manipulation when there was no CAS.

Your assumption that CAS will bring storm is also a doom's day call. Can you provide the data from the international exchanges where CAS is followed and have been married by manipulation due to it? Why you think the older last 30 mins vwap system for closing price followed by the Indian exchanges is immune to manipulation?

I'm not against this CAS working model just that everything should settle at the same time. The older 30mins vwap isn't immue to manipulation at all but you can make a exit at very low cost. Just simply the point is CAS is very idle way to find the price but the options should be settled or close at 3:15pm just this

CAS is joke. Morning false discovery can get corrected by full day of trading,, but manipulation in closing can become nightmare for many.
