A new charity meme coin platform is launching soon - worth keeping an eye on

not a call, no token, there is nothing to buy yet. just marking something, because the model differs enough that it is worth turning attention on it. this is a solana launchpad under the name pumpchange. when you create a token you choose a charitable organisation and tie to it a percent from the trading fees, somewhere from 10 to 100%. what is actually interesting is that you choose one time, at creation, and afterwards it is impossible to change. this is visible to everyone who holds the token. why i think this is important: most often the we give back tokens are a promise in a post in telegram. a promise costs nothing and gets quietly cancelled approximately at the same time as the chart does. if at creation the split is set and there is no edit function, the promise ceases to be a promise and becomes a property of the token. the transfer of donations is carried out through the giving block, so the receiver is a registered nonprofit organisation and not a wallet which somebody controls. transfers are on-chain, so you can pull them up in solscan yourself and not trust a dashboard. pre-launch, currently just a waitlist: pumpchange.fun. things i do not know yet and would want answered before touching anything: \- what will happen if the chosen organisation ceases to accept crypto or is liquidated \- does the percent relate to the full fee or only to the creator's part of it, which is a big difference \- what can still be done by a creator who wants to defect i am going to wait and look how the first tokens will look on-chain before taking any decision.

fair, and i do not have an operating contract to point you at yet, so relate to this as to what they claim and not as to what i checked. the claim consists in that the split is a creation-time parameter with no setter after mint, so there is no admin function to call. this can be checked the second the first token appears, you look for the function, and if it is there the whole thing is theatre. that is the specific thing i am going to check in august and i would suggest anyone else does the same instead of taking my word or theirs.
