DD: Q2 Metals Made a Major Discovery Next Door. Now I’m Watching $AXVEF $CDN

CDN Maverick caught my eye after today's update. It trades OTCQB as $AXVEF (and $CDN on the CSE in Canada). The main reason I'm watching it right now is James Bay, Quebec. CDN controls 1,046 claims covering roughly 56,948 hectares, including a 100%-owned, drill-permitted polymetallic target. Historical drilling already encountered sulphide mineralization, including a reported 2.85 meters of massive sulphides. Later geophysical work suggests some of the main conductive targets may have been missed or inadequately tested by the original drilling. One priority conductor was modeled at roughly 500 S/m conductivity, and the company now has a technical roadmap recommending approximately 2,700 meters of diamond drilling. **Historical massive sulphides. Strong conductors. Targets that may have been missed. And a project that's already permitted for drilling.** Obviously none of that guarantees a discovery. They still have to put holes in the ground and prove what's actually there. CDN also has the Rainbow Canyon Gold Project in Nevada, where recent geophysics identified multiple prospective targets. CDN also has a portfolio of royalty assets. James Bay is the big one though. You've got: ✓ Historical massive sulphides ✓ Defined conductive targets ✓ A priority \~500 S/m conductor ✓ Drill permits already in place ✓ \~2,700m recommended drill program ✓ Nearly 57,000 hectares in James Bay ✓ Nevada gold exposure on top of it ✓ Strategic equity/warrant portfolio Now comes the part that matters: **Drilling.** CDN’s James Bay ground sits **right next to Q2 Metals’ Cisco Project.** Q2 went from being another relatively unknown James Bay explorer to making a major lithium discovery at Cisco, reporting some seriously impressive drill intercepts. Now, to be crystal clear: **CDN is not Q2, and being next door to a discovery does not mean you've got the same thing on your property.** But that's exactly why I find CDN interesting at this stage. We've already seen what a significant discovery can do to the perception of an overlooked junior in this part of James Bay. CDN now has a massive land position beside that discovery, plus its own historical sulphide mineralization, conductive targets and a drill-ready polymetallic project. And at this stage, I think it's worth putting on the watchlist.
