Logic is simple due to high weightage it will drop a lot. Same as VWRA has a high US weightage so when US lao sai VWRA lao sai too.

Yes, you’ll never believe what happens when some of the biggest components of the index crash!!! Stay tuned for another episode of stating the obvious!

Nonsense article. During a market crash, correlation ship goes to 1. No one is going to sit around and do scenario or valuation analysis. Everything goes sold together.

SG banks stocks, even the laggards are performing better than s&p 500. Pays to be somewhat diversified

“And you know what they say, when the cops raid a whorehouse they take away all the girls. You can't believe a panic until you've lived through it” — Paul Cabot Meaning: when market crash, everything falls. And if the stock you own are of a reasonable quality, it will rebound faster than the rest. So make sure you don’t buy expensive and have a long term outlook. How to confirm: check out how DBS did during past crisis. Asian financial crisis, dot com, USA housing bubble worldwide banks crisis.

Each of the big banks have giant buildings all around Singapore, if share price half, will building become half size? You press $100 in atm, $50 come out? No mah, life goes on.

You press $100 in atm, $50 come out? No mah, life goes on.
This not related though, got SDIC backing it.
  21. u/kuang89 1 1 day ago
I know, I am talking hyperbole here. Neither can the building shrink in size ya?
  22. u/Varantain 1 1 day ago
They can take up fewer floors haha. Things will happen internally that we won't see.
