How do you evaluate a dividend stock after major restructuring and asset sales? Olam as an example
They have been paying good dividends every year until this year, even though profit has been great. They did some major restructuring recently, new CEO, selling a bunch of stuff like Olam Agri for around S$2.41 billion and Mindsprint for S$492 million, combined proceeds is much more than half of their market capitalization of around S$5 billion.
