Both, just depends on alot of things...after open is less risky..if you are new, probably better for you. Stocks usually work themselves out between 9:30-10:15. You can often get in on a dip during this time.

I usually do Nasdaq and Dow on open, never done stocks. I'm just looking for an opportunity to jump in on a penny stock here and there.

I had to separate the 2 comments so that the $SBS/$CIG one didn't get downvoted into oblivion 🤣 I probably could've trimmed a bit more of $CAPs above $.30 but I'm just chilling for now. (Full disclosure I fully expect them to sell shares on the ER pop as there're filings for it but it's clear that the shares get locked up quickly because then the stock becomes volatile to the downside after ERs. The ER volume has been WAY above average if you look back, so the dilution, likely to fund acquisitions, as they're not at risk of bankruptcy, is really insignificant, IMO. At some point the thesis should/could stick & this stock will re-rate higher IMO; there're a lot shittier stocks trading a lot higher, cough cough $CTM)

It wasn't screaming "value buy" to me when you mentioned it, but then again, fundamentals don't mean shit around these parts. For a similar price, you could get $CAPS which is bringing in \~30x the revenue...

My god the dilution though.

It's the cleanest dilution I've ever seen in a penny stock. They use the money to fund acquisitions, they're not at risk of bankruptcy, & in the big scheme of things, the *share count* dilution isn't that high, just the percentages. Even if you add in a few more million shares, this is an insanely undervalued stock. I admit that I bought in too early a while back; I didn't think it'd be so hard for people to see the value/low float setup here. When that ER drops, I feel like the thesis will be undeniable.

All being on the threshold list means, is that there were so many FTDs, that they couldn't reconcile them all in time to be compliant with the rules. Translated, that means "under heavy, heavy short attack", or perhaps more accurately, "abusive naked shorting".

Drawing that horizontal line really made me double-take. Something something past resistance offers future support? I admittedly didn't zoom way the fuck out to see a longer-term trend, & it's possible that the price breaks down into the lower area; at that point I'd have to reconsider my thesis (& my identity, & my life's path) but at the same time I'm not interested in selling this for a loss. I don't even know what the hell to think but I'm still buying $SBS; I think it's getting really glitchy at these prices, like there isn't much liquidity to go around. I took a break to help my grandma with some things & came back to keep buying 100-sare blocks. $5.03, $5.02, $5.01... Yes! Now you're you're starting to get the hang of it. That was a totally valid support line that you drew. The reason why it didn't work, is only because of the head and shoulders pattern above it. Those are really the death warrant for any and every run-up. Meaning, if your line was to be respected, the up-trend would continue. Which, the head and shoulders pattern told you that it wouldn't.

It's wild how much you can start to ascertain just by looking at historical movements. I need to start looking farther back. It bounced hard off of the $5.01 right when my order was filled, but like you said, it's approaching it again. Zooming out, I think $2 is pretty solid support for $CIG too so I'm loading the boat with that one today too. That's why no one wants to touch $CAPS, even though they recently pivoted the business in March 2025 so everything before that is relatively irrelevant. Thanks for being here to bounce ideas off of, even if you're not invested in the stock!

Wonderful 🥲 I think these 2 really are going to become long-term holds for me so I can just commit to regular adds after I get through $SBS' earnings (one more day!). I'm holding for the (qualified) dividends, as a macroeconomic hedge, & for the capital appreciation (for now; I'll probably abandon the thesis tomorrow right when it gets good). I also didn't think much about how currency risk could play into these; I've gotta add the Real to the app that I use to track currencies. The Colombian peso has been strengthening like crazy recently so I guess I just assumed the same for Brazil. If the Real is dropping, it doesn't really matter what the value of the company is. But then again, that's what international investments are, hedges against future (US) risk.

It doesn't matter, because you should be out by then. That thick blue support line is the "last line of defense" when it comes to taking profit goes. Optimally, you'll sell the peak. But, if you think it's going to keep running up, you can keep holding all the way down to that thick blue support line. Under that, though, and it's done. It's going to keep falling for quite some time.

I never buy before. As we all know sometimes it could rocket up sometimes it can completely tank on good earnings. I usually wait for it to shoot Up and then there's usually a violent pullback and then I enter on that pullback.

I thought about doing that, but I could never be sure if that's a good idea. And on what timeframe? I would imagine 5 minutes . . .

Tip of the day.... When there is news regarding a stock acquisition, it can cause a pump...but also a bigger dump...always think..where is the stock going to get the money from for the acquisition...acquisitions often mean dilution at some point.

BYND will be interesting...not 100% sure I will get in..after RS, it will be World War III retail against the shorts...retail will need to bring the volume
